Camping

For my Birthday we went camping at a state park near First Landing State Park. We rode bikes a lot. We even got a free private 6 person golf cart ride on my b-day! We called some owls with a bird call. The campground was right on the Chesapeake bay. There is a 17 mile bridge-tunnel.

Florida Trip, Part 1

On Jan 29, We left for Key West. A few days earlier, Dad got a call from a business guy. The guy works for Landmark Aviation and they were getting a new location for a Cube unit. The guy asked if Dad had checked out the new location yet. Dad said no, and so the guy texted Dad the address. Turns out that it was Key West International Airport! For months Dad had been wanting to go to Key West. So we drove down in our motorhome. A week earlier I had found out that the Collingsworth Family was singing in Avon Park, FL.  On our trip, Dad said that it would not work to go see them because it was in the middle of Florida and we were going down the east coast. “But They are having one that is more on our way”. In fact, we were going through that town anyway. So we went and saw them sing. To be continued…

Our Camping Trip

On Thursday the 23rd of October our family went camping at Douthat State park. We went from the 23rd to the 26th. The weather was nice. We hiked and biked a lot. This was our 2nd time there.  We got to borrow these backpacks called nature knapsacks that had all sorts of books about nature

Camp Post

On September 26-28 we were at camp post. Us kids rode bikes a lot. The kids wedged plastic bottles in their wheels to make dirt bike sounds. On the 27th we rode bikes on a trail dad ridden on a few years ago. It was hard. We went to a swinging bridge. Other pepole went hiking to the viewing rock ( jump rock ) and jump mountain witch are two different things. The next day others went to the viewing rock. I went crawdad hunting with a few others. We only caught 5 tiny ones. Later the girls and little kids came down to the river with us. On the last day of camp we played Swedish softball. For those of you who don’t know what that is I’ll explain it. It’s like baseball except you use a tennis racket, tennis ball, no foul balls, and two ways to get out. The first way is to catch the ball. The second way is if the pitcher gets the ball and steps on the mound. On the way home Carson, Brooks, and gweneth went with us to outback for dinner. We got home around 10:00 PM and slept in the motorhome. I was having too much fun to take pics.

Our Camping Trip

On the last Tuesday of October we went camping (I won a free night for at a Camping Resort). We had lots of fun! We went on bike rides and played with a ball over the tent. We played at a beach. We also went mini golfing.
