Thanksgiving

On november 27 we had Granddad, Grandmother, and the Woods family over at our house for Thanksgiving.  Luke, Kenley, Bryant, and I played airsoft a lot. About 2:00 we had lunch. we had turkey. About 8:00 we had turkey sandwiches for dinner.  After dinner Uncle Eric, Landon, and Luke sang a song for everyone. I was recording. If you want a recording e-mail me at cooper@cooperhull.com.  Hurry! This deal ends fast! The song is called “My Side of the Radio” by Chris Rice. The lyrics are:

Here I am on the other side of the radio
Wonderin’ why I’m here and why anybody cares what I say
No I’m not a better man cause I’m singing my songs on the radio
Cause were all the same, at the end of the day

Now I imagine you on the other side of the radio
Doin’ your homework or driving with your windows down on the freeway
I see you tappin’ the wheel I see you bobbin’ your head to the radio
Oh and it makes my day, to see that smile on your face
And in some small way, I remember my place

Cause it’s you and me singing the same song right now
And maybe this will bring us together somehow
And maybe there’s a million people all singing a long
Somebody started thinkin’ about the third line
And maybe someone’s saying a prayer for the first time
And that’s enough reason to keep me singing my song,
Singing my songs, on the other side of the radio

Crank up the volume sing at the top of your lungs with the radio
Tune it in to some good news and laughing along with the dj
We’re changing someone’s world from the other side of the radio
Oh and it makes my day to see that smile on your face
And in some small way, I remember my place

Cause it’s you and me singing the same song right now
And maybe this will bring us together somehow
And maybe there’s a million people all singing a long
Somebody started thinkin’ about the third line
And maybe someone’s saying a prayer for the first time
And that’s enough reason to keep me singing my song
Singing my song, on the other side of the radio

Cause it’s you and me singing the same song right now
And maybe this will bring us together somehow
And maybe there’s a million people all singing a long
Somebody started thinkin’ about the third line
And maybe someone’s saying a prayer for the first time
And that’s enough reason to keep me singing my song
Singing my song, on the other side of the radio

When Uncle Wes and Aunt Jess Were Here

On the 27th, Uncle Wes and Jess came to our house. They spent two nights at our house. On their last night we had people over. We played catch phrase. It was fun. Uncle Wes gave us fun dip candy. He ate it with us. When he had left, we saw 4 more packets. Uncle Wes is like adult version of Caden.

Our Big Snow and Oylmpics

On the 10 of February we made a bobsledding coarse to have an Oylmpic-like round of games. We did bobsledding, snowboarding, figure skating, speed skating, and skeloton. We did the oylmics with our neighbors. We also had a snow war but it was not in the oylmpics. When we were done playing outside, Mom made us doughnuts and hot chocolate.

Air Racers 3D

This is kind of a add on to What We did When Mom and Dad Were in D.C. So on the 3rd of December we(Mom, Dad, Bryant, Blain, Granddad, and I) went to D.C. to see a movie and a lecture. On the way there, it was slow( I couldn’t believe we made it in time)! The people giving the lecture were 2 of the people in the movie!  Some of the parts that they put on their P-51 mustang could not go on a stock P-51 mustang. On the way back, we got junior frosties at Wendie’s(they were 2″ tall!).

What We Did On Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving we had Uncle Eric, Aunt Jeannine, Grandmother, Granddad, and the Woods boys over for the day. We played Lego and built forts out of blue pads downstairs. At the end of the day( it was below freezing) Uncle Eric dumped water on the patio and it froze so we could slide. In the shed we found two boogie sleds and we took turns with them.

What I Want To Do For Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving I want to have a turkey and have all my friends (Carson, Brooks, Josh, John, Kenley, and Luke) over. I also want to play four-square and lego. I want to play army.

When Grammy and Papa Were Here

On the 12, Grammy, Papa and Caden came to our house. They stayed until the 15(which is Dad’s birthday). We played basketball a lot! We also played lego police. He made a really cool boat/ski mobile. We also played monopoly.
